Future Products Adds New Hermle 5-Axis Machining CenterWe are very excited to announce an addition to our equipment list! A new Hermle C400 5-Axis CNC Machining Center was recently delivered and installed on our shop floor at our Headquarters in Clawson, MI. We are proud to be the first company in the U.S. to take delivery of this model.

Manufacturing boom: Trade school enrollment soarsAccording to a July 2012 Industrial Production report from the Federal Reserve, output in the manufacturing sector increased .7% in June. In the second quarter of 2012, manufacturing output rose 1.4%; fueled largely by an 18.2% increase in the motor vehicles & parts category. A recent CNNMoney article by Parija Kavilanz titled “Manufacturing boom: Trade school enrollment soars”, discusses the impact the growing manufacturing sector has on Trade school enrollment/job fulfillment. Parija cites examples of Trade schools that are implementing new/creative programs to face the challenges of surging enrollments.
